On Sunday, the Washington Journal explores the nomination of former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel (R) to be the next Secretary of Defense, replacing Secretary Leon Panetta, who is retiring.
Steve Clemons, Editor at Large of The Atlantic, and Gary Schmitt, Co-Director of the American Enterprise Institute Center for Security Studies, will discuss President Obama?s choice for Defense Secretary, former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel.
They will offer their opinions,and respond to video clips of Sen. Hagel on a variety of topics including the defense budget, his time in Vietnam, Afghanistan, the Middle East, Israel and Iran.
